The Nintendo GameCube is a 2001 Japanese video game console made by Nintendo. It is one of the three consoles that Vexx was released for, alongside Sony's PlayStation 2 and Microsoft's Xbox. Vexx takes up 4 blocks on the GameCube's Memory Card.

Vexx can also be played on the console's successor, the Nintendo Wii, albeit the launch model only (RVL-001), as later revisions of the Wii lack GameCube compatibility.

Trivia[]

  • Because the GameCube uses a proprietary variant of the 8cm MiniDVD format for its discs rather than the conventional 12cm discs, the disc for Vexx is consequently smaller and features different artwork than that of the PS2 and Xbox versions of the disc.

  • Both the GameCube and Xbox versions of the game tend to load faster overall than the PS2 version.
  • On the Xbox and PS2 back covers of the game, there is a possible reference to Nintendo's Mario and The Legend of Zelda franchise. On the top right corner, a screenshot of Vexx climbing a pole can be seen with the description, "To hell with a princess - Save the world!" It is a parody of the usual trope of a video game character saving a damsel in distress, very common with the aforementioned franchises. This description and screenshot are both removed from the GameCube version's back cover.
